17.11.2025

It is a long-standing tradition of the Oberalp Group to highlight and reward special projects and achievements of employees with the so-called "Oberalp Awards" every year. Also, this year, the winners among the impressive number of submitted projects of 2024 were awarded this special prize. After extensive reviews and discussions, the Executive Board of the Oberalp Group announced the winners from among the proposed projects in November 2025.

The Creativity & Innovation Award 2025 was presented to two teams. The first trophy went to the Wild Country team for the redesign of the iconic Friend. The innovative version of the Friend, equipped with a patented extendable cord, improved ergonomics, and a new cam-keeper mechanism, set new standards in climbing protection. The award recognizes the team’s technical expertise and commitment to pushing the boundaries of hardware innovation.

The second winner of the Creativity & Innovation Award 2025 was the Under Armour team with the campaign “Rise to Shine” – the first fully Italy-developed sportswear campaign by Under Armour since 2017. With local artist Tony Effe and a cross-channel implementation across digital, retail, out-of-home, and event formats, the campaign reached a young, urban audience and achieved high visibility and strong engagement.

The Excellent Execution & Process Improvement Award 2025 was also awarded twice. The first recipient is an employee from the Sustainability Compliance & Strategy department, recognized for developing the company’s first comprehensive Corporate Carbon Footprint. Through a detailed carbon accounting model and collaboration with various departments, the foundation was laid for the emissions reduction strategy and the path toward Net Zero.

The second winner is the Cybersecurity team. They were recognized for implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity upgrade across 11 branches in 8 countries. By introducing a unified, AI-enhanced security infrastructure and a Zero Trust model, protection against cyberattacks was significantly strengthened.

The Direct to Customer Award 2025 also went to two teams. The Pop Up Stores Barts team, consisting of employees from various departments, was recognized for implementing the Pop Up Stores Barts campaign, in which four temporary stores in shopping centers and train stations tested new distribution channels.

Also awarded was the LaMunt Store team for building an active LaMunt community around the first LaMunt store. Through regular events and collaborations with suitable women’s communities, the store was successfully turned into a place for exchange, connection, and shared experiences.

The Cost Saving Award 2025 was awarded to the Dynafit Marketing team. The team successfully executed the grand opening event of the Dynafit Speed Factory in Kiefersfelden. Despite a 50% reduced budget, they managed to organize an impressive event for approximately 600 guests. The initiative impressed through strong teamwork, creative solutions, and efficient budget management.

The Risk Award 2025, which annually recognizes projects, teams, or talents for their courage – regardless of whether the decisions turned out to be correct – was not awarded this year.

Likewise, the Sustainability Award 2025, for responsible actions with a positive impact on the environment, society, and economy, was not awarded this year.
